Antisemitism:

As the ‘oldest hatred in the world’ there is sadly no shortage of material on the history of antisemitism and organisations dedicated to its study. The resources below should help provide advice and support and also signpost you to the wealth of initiatives and organisations in this space.

To report incidents of anti-semitism in the first instance please go to cst.org or antisemitism.org.

What is antisemitism?

Contemporary antisemitism and post-October 7 antisemitism (taken from Israel’s Antisemitism Envoy to the UN’s speech on November 7th):

  • Anti-Zionism is the new mutated form of Antisemitism.
  • The Dehumanisation, Delegitimisation and Double standards traditionally applied to Jews has morphed to the Jewish state.
  • If people don’t unequivocally condemn October 7, ‘never again’ will have no meaning.
  • This a conflict about a genocidal organisation committed to the murder of Jews versus the only democratic state in the region.
  • A war was waged on Israel and the antisemitism of the responses that deny, justify and excuse the actions of the perpetrators is only the beginning – Jews are the canary in the coalmine.
  • If we don’t recognise that this moment is ‘never again’, we’re not just failing Jews but we are failing to protect our shared humanity and civilisation as a whole.
