I-gnite was founded in May 2021 in the aftermath of the Gaza conflict, when it became clear that children as young as 10 were being exposed to antisemitic vitriol and drawn into the debate through social media.

At the same time, young people were increasingly struggling to articulate their Jewish identity.

Our flagship project was launched in May 2023, in partnership with Pajes, addressing Israel and antisemitism education in Jewish schools. We also work with students and teachers in mainstream schools.

Since October 7 our weekly webinars have been attended by thousands of people, providing advice, practical help and support.  We have also tried to identify some of the most impactful resources in the UK and globally that deal with the key issues in an easily accessible way.
